S.N.A.P.

School Site Non-Profit Arts Program

S.N.A.P. is an after school dance instruction program. Elk Grove Youth Dance, Inc. offers a series of four (4) week dance instruction programs at no cost to students attending Title I schools in the Elk Grove Unified School District.

This program runs in cooperation with the After School Education and Safety (ASES) Program as a component of their enrichment curriculum. S.N.A.P. is held on-site at participating Title I schools and is choreographed and overseen by our Artistic Director(s). Youth dancers who have completed the Peer Teaching Program sponsored by Elk Grove Youth Dance, Inc. assist with the S.N.A.P. program.

This program brings formal dance instruction directly to youth in our community who may not otherwise have exposure to the art of dance.
